Waistaway’s recommended diet food is low calorie, and delivers optimal nutrition and will help you to lose weight helthily but water is free for all diets.
By reducing the number of calories in the diet food we eat we often lose weight but pay little attention to the fluids we consume, unless we are correctly losing alcohol from our allowed diet food and drink list .
Water comes bottled or from the tap, in it’s natural still form or carbonated. The one thing these have in common is that they all contain zero calories. They are the one true free diet “product”. Water is the fluid of choice for all diets.
In fact we should all, as part of a normal healthy diet, drink around 2 litres of water a day, which is around 4 pints. This volume should be sipped throughout the day, rather than drunk in fewer sittings in large amounts.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that sipping water during the day leads to a reduction in the food and therefore calories we consume. One reason for this could be the confusion of our feeling the effects of dehydration as hunger, and since water is a large component of conventional and diet food, by eating we can partially compensate for the lack of body fluid. Eating food however doesn’t fully replace the needed fluids. This phenomenon is easily seen when you get home from work tired and “hungry” but actually often tired and dehydrated.
When following any healthy diet it is imperative that you keep suitably hydrated, especially when on a specially controlled diet food plan such as the Waistaway Sure programme(using the Lipotrim Pharmacy Programme). The quick weight loss at the start of the diet is due to the loss of large quantities of water from the body as glycogen is used up. If this water is not replaced ,dehydration can set in and give rise to symptoms such as dizziness, headache and general malaise.
One way to measure your hydration level is to check what colour your urine is. Contrary to many people’s experience your urine should be clear and colourless, and if it is concentrated or yellowy this could be a sign that you need more fluids. After you have settled into your diet, and if it is a ketone producing diet, you can purchase ketostix to test your urine.
